What is your favorite scale of model trains and why?

For me it is N Scale.

I love the amount of detail that can be done is such a small space.

HO because old eyes need bigger toys to see and work on. Maybe O scale is lurking in the wings.

When I first got into model railroading in 1997, I started out with HO Scale.
N Scale was too small for me to work on; so HO seemed to be the route to go.
O scale would be even better but it takes a lot more space to have a really nice layout; and of course there is always the financial aspect to consider.

So I have every intention of staying with HO Scale.
I am particularly interested in all aspects of DCC operation. I got hooked on it from the beginning.
Now there are even more reasons to use DCC than when I started in 1997.

I started out as a kid with HO scale. Never really had a layout, just a large loop of double track that I added a few sidings to. Now I'm an N scaler and hoping to someday get off my ass and actually get something going.
